Early evening yesterday, Snape’s own voices — so many and in such good form — sang carols round the Christmas Tree on the Green, to the fabulous sounds of a brass ensemble led by Helen Barker. Whistles were whet with a cup of Jackie’s yummy mulled wine — and the mince pies, donated by Waitrose, were delicious. Singers also visited The Crown with a couple of carols, and went on to the Golden Key to sing three. Thanks to Harriet for shaking the bucket so effectively, and raising £166 towards repairs at Snape Church. Thanks for all contributions. [Around 50 or 60 attended Friday's event.]
