Feb 2015: Our new Classroom
Many thanks to everyone who has kindly helped us raise funds for this new classroom. The school now has almost enough funding to complete the project. Houchell Ltd is the company that has been appointed to build the classroom and work started in January. Our children are looking forward to seeing their new classroom take shape. The school now needs funding to purchase equipment for the new classroom and one of the other classrooms.
£92,109 has been raised from the following sources —
● | Local Authority Funding (Suffolk County Council)
● | Andrew Reid, County Councillor (Locality Fund etc.)
● | Adnams | ||
● | Welsh Booth Automation
● | L D Rope Foundation (two separate donations)
● | Garfield Weston Foundation
● | Sizewell B | ||
Other donations received from —
● | Friends of the School | ||
● | Individual donations
● | Sponsors of blocks (146 individual sponsors)
● | Heritage Weekend | ||
● | Sale of bikes | ||
● | Gift Aid |
Would anyone be able to help us raise funding to enhance the new classroom and for equipment, such as tables, chairs and an interactive whiteboard? This could be by making a donation, fundraising on our behalf, acting as a guarantor or sponsoring building blocks (£5 per block, or £10 for 3 blocks) or by paying £10 to become a Friend of Snape School (or £100 to become a Life Friend).
