Calling all garden lovers!
Join us for Snape Open Gardens Trail
in aid of St Elizabeth Hospice,
Sunday 30th June, 10.30-4pm
Are you a garden lover? Ever wondered what lies behind other people’s garden fences? Then the annual Snape Open Gardens Trail is for you. This year 11 garden owners are throwing open their garden gates, and inviting you in to see all manner of plots from the small and beautiful, to the large and impressive. Come and bask in the midsummer sunshine, chat to the garden owners, and enjoy home-baked cakes and refreshments.
The Trail is well marked and runs from 10.30am to 4pm. Start at Church Common (IP17 1QL) where there is plenty of parking, and you can wind your way through the village, ending in Gromford Lane. Teas will be served at both ends of the trail, and there are loos and plenty of parking available at the Village Hall (IP17 1RN).
There will also be a Bric-a-brac Sale at the Village Hall from 10.30am until 3.30pm.
As with all St Elizabeth Hospice Open Gardens there is no entrance fee, but we do ask for donations. Look for the signs by Snape Church (IP17 1QW) and through the village. You can start anywhere – simply follow the signs and bunting to find a garden. You can make a donation and get a trail guide at any participating garden.
Thanks to Katie’s Garden Nursery, we will have plants for sale on the day,
and all proceeds go to the Hospice.
Come rain or shine, we will be there so we do hope you will come and join us,
and help raise funds for this good cause.
