A record number of classic vehicles filled both display areas of the Riverside and there was a continual stream of paying visitors coming through the gates to enjoy the day. The Fourteenth Alde Valley Classics Day has been the most successful event to date. That is down to the hard work of everyone involved. Thank you all and see you for Alde Valley Classics Day 2024!

Planning for this day is on track. We are preparing with confidence, ... but our fingers are crossed! In the meantime, your support and prayers as the event is put together, would be welcome. We will need bottles for the bottle stall and books for the book stall for example.
Volunteers to help are welcome on the day, as we not only need tasks done during the day, but we have to leave the building and grounds 'pristine' when the visitors have gone. We have a programme being put together and a flyer will be printed and distributed shortly. We won't go to print on the programme until we are sure the event can go ahead.
BOTTLES needed for the bottle stall!
Please would you let us have bottles (full ones) for the bottle stall. This year Gill and Michael will be in charge. You can either deliver your donations to them at Hedge End, 53 Station Road, Blaxhall, IP12 2DG — carry on past Stone Farm and it is the next cottage you come to — or to Rev Rachel. In either case leave the bottles in the porch. Rev Rachel would prefer you don't give her bottles at church, as it is quite a challenge getting what she needs for a service to and from the car, without adding bottles to the task!

We are beginning to plan this event which will be similar to previous years. We hope you will be able to come and enjoy a visit at some point during the day — but, in the meantime, your help with providing items for the stalls would be welcome. We hope to have a Book Stall, a Bottle Stall and a Produce Stall, so if you have any items for these will you start putting them aside ready for the day.
