How to follow such a fabulous Quiz Night led by Maggie & Chris Scott and team?! On top of one of the best organised quizzes you could ever take part in, we had a fabulous raffle raising money for the Jess Grant Celebration Fund. The fund helps to provide Music Therapy for children with medical conditions in local hospitals and hospices. We raised a whopping £440.
We didn't even have to advertise this popular open event, as all tables had been reserved DAYS before!

A fascinating talk by Brian Heard
UPDATED ON 29th AUGUST

As Britain's top forensic detective over the past 38 years, Brian Heard has been involved in some of the most high-profile and brutal cases in criminal history. When the Krays were active during the sixties, he was in charge of finding out which gangs were responsible for which bodies. Author of "The Killer Catcher", a fascinating memoir that will take the reader on a nail-biting journey through a side of the underworld that few ever see, Brian will talk to us about the incredible techniques that are used to fight crime. His talk will fascinate anyone who has ever wondered how our nation's horrific mysteries are ever solved. The talk is neither gruesome nor technical, but will involve humour.
Guests: £5 Refreshments included.
Raffle to end an exciting evening.
