On Monday 12th, the Meet Up Mondays group was joined by "3-in-a-Bar plus 1" — namely 5-in-a-Bar's June, Kathy and Chris, plus Maggie — for a selection of familiar carols, with a couple of the less familiar sung by 3+1 alone. Maggie ended with an amusing account of a school nativity play.

Monday 19th saw the welcome return to The Golden Key of our Christmas lunch, which sadly had to be cancelled at very short notice last year because of the Covid. Sixteen of us sat down to a great spread, with crackers and all the trimmings, and a seventeenth lunch was delivered afterwards to one of our number who had taken a fall at home that very morning.
Jars of jam, kindly donated by Snape Maltings, were distributed to the diners, plus to other regular MUMmers who'd been unable to make the lunch through illness or competing appointments.
