Suffolk's own Rural Coffee Caravan will again be visiting us at the next Meet-up-Monday, on the 8th. This time it is to showcase Cassius Falls Pendants (and other assistance equipment too). You can wear the pendant around your neck, or attached to your keys, and it allows you to call for help if need be. It also has a falls detector installed in it, and will automatically raise an alarm should you have a fall.
You can read more below, or download the flyer by clicking on its first page — or, better still, join us at MUM from 10:30am until 12 noon on Monday, 8th August, when the Caravan's Annette will demonstrate the pendant, and other similar equipment. Carers, relatives, friends and neighbours of those who might benefit from these offerings are also welcome to join us to learn more — and please tell anyone, too, who you believe could benefit.
As she did at a Thursday Coffee Morning a few months ago, Annette will also arrive with a selection of (free-of-charge) ferrules for walking-sticks, etc. to improve users' safety.
Clicking on the second page (immediately above) will route you
to the Suffolk County Council's privacy statement on what data will be held about you,
to "support best outcomes" from use of the pendant in case of any emergency.
