From Friday 3rd, artist Oliver Hill's beautiful new light installation outside Snape Maltings Concert Hall came to life, giving children and people of all ages the chance to watch and play among its multi-coloured bars of light. The installation is all about thanking those who have tirelessly helped us get through the last two years, especially NHS staff and other essential workers. You can read more about it at https://brittenpearsarts.org/visit-us/snape-maltings/things-to-do/light-installation-keyworker-thanks.
Snape Maltings are inviting people to write a short message of thanks to anyone who has helped or supported them during the pandemic over the last two years. People will then be able to come and view their messages between 5:00 and 5:10pm each day. To send a message of your own, please compete the short online-form at
The event continues until Thursday, 23rd December.
Later on, we're hoping to have a light from the show on top of Snape Church tower.
