In case you didn't know (or had forgotten!), there is no Bank Holiday "Meet Up Mondays" (MUM) this time.

UPDATED ON MONDAY 21st MARCH
From next Monday (28th), "Meet Up Mondays" is back at our original, popular place and time, "The Golden Key" from 10:30 to noon. We're now guaranteed always to be in the back room, where we won't clash with the diners, and so won't need to dash out at lunchtime. The ladies at The Key are very keen to have us back, and there will be two staff on duty to help keep our cafetières, etc. topped up. See you there! — Maria

Our first Monday at the Village Hall ...
UPDATED ON WEDNESDAY, 3rd NOVEMBER
FROM NEXT MONDAY (8th) WE MEET AT THE VILLAGE HALL, but at the yet later time of 11 o'clock until 12:30 — so still for 1½ hours (and NOT from 10:45am as suggested earlier). You can all continue to come out to socialise, drink coffee and eat cake, for free! …
I've thanked Harry at The Golden Key for his help and generosity over the past few years, but we will be back there for our Christmas lunch on 20th December. [The lunch was subsequently called off because of resurgence of the Covid pandemic.]

UPDATED ON MONDAY, 18th OCTOBER
SUFFOLK SUNFLOWER CHALLENGE 2021: The Rural Coffee Caravan recently visited Snape — for both Meet-up-Mondays and the monthly Coffee Morning — to offer useful information to residents on a wide variety of subjects, such as personal safety and home heating. During the Summer, the Caravan also supplied seeds for a Suffolk-wide Sunflower Challenge, and reported on our local progress …

UPDATED ON WEDNESDAY, 13th OCTOBER
Every Monday morning from 10:30 we socialise, drink coffee and eat cake, for free — a great way to meet up and chat, maybe make new friends in the village. Recently, we celebrated Eileen’s birthday with an amazing cake made by Margaret. Do get out of the house and join us! — even on Bank Holidays.
UPDATED ON MONDAY, 27th SEPTEMBER
As a further sign of regularisation post-Covid, the "Golden Key" have agreed that from next Monday (4th October) our hours revert to the "old normal" — 10:30 to noon. We are also open on Bank Holiday Mondays.
UPDATED ON SATURDAY, 12th JUNE
The RNLI have acknowledged the collections that continue on
from the personal initiative of our dear Friend, the late Sue Buesnel.
UPDATED ON SATURDAY, 15th MAY
To fit in with The Golden Key's other clientele,
we're moving our morning sessions earlier by half an hour, so now FROM 10am TO 11:30
every Monday, including Bank Holidays (which it is again on the 31st).
From Monday, we can be indoors again, but still observing the "Rule of Six" per table group,
whilst those who prefer to stay outside for now can still do so too —
depending, of course, on the weather!
We'll just see how it all goes!
UPDATED ON WEDNESDAY, 12th MAY
How wonderful it was to see so many at our M-up-M at The Golden Key on Monday,
past attendees and new faces.
I took a moment just to look and listen,
taking in the happiness of being able to meet up once again …
POSTED ON SATURDAY, 8th MAY
Great news! After 14 long months, Meet-Up-Mondays is back.
We'll be outside, in the back, undercover area of the "Golden Key" this Monday,
and every Monday after that — fingers crossed that guidelines don’t change!
It would be lovely to see you — even if it’s just to pop in and say hello!
Could you tell anyone in the village who you think would benefit
from joining us for a chat, coffee and cake? — all free.
Before Covid, we also found that residents would pop in
if they had a job for the Good Neighbours,
but didn’t want to use our phone,
