Brian confirms that his email address is now back in operation.
I myself had reports from two bloggees about emails they'd received, supposedly from Brian, asking them to order goods from Amazon. Just delete any such emails without opening them. For my part, my Amazon account username is the same as my email address, which is listed (as many are) in Brian's email Address Book — so, though my password for the Amazon website is fairly secure, I've taken the added precaution of removing my credit-card details from amazon.co.uk, stored in my 'Wallet' at Your Account > Your Payments. are just now re-securing his email address and,
when that has been successfully completed,
