The Be Well Bus is a mobile one-stop shop for health and wellbeing support in Ipswich and East Suffolk, offered by NHS Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board. Anyone is welcome to visit the Bus, no appointment needed. Simply turn up at the advertised time. On board you will find a knowledgeable team made up of people from lots of different health, care and community organisations.
The Bus also has a private consultation room and a SiSU healthcheck machine that provides
— free mini healthchecks in under 4-5 minutes;
— measures height, weight and your Body Mass Index (BMI), blood pressure, heart rate and body-fat percentage: the results from the healthcheck are visible in the SiSU App/Portal.
Depending on your needs, the crew will either be able to offer help and advice there and then, or signpost you to an organisation best-placed to help.

The Be Well Bus will be visiting Saxmundham next on 20th March from 10:00am to 2:30pm at Tesco's car park, Saxmundham, IP17 1EP — and yet more sessions are scheduled.
