Harry Young, the Chief Operating Officer of Britten Pears Arts [aka Snape Maltings] will be the guest speaker at the Annual Parish Meeting. Harry is leading the next phase of investment at the Maltings, including the element of the Alde and Ore flood defences around the Maltings site [officially known as Flood Cell FC6] — particularly, from the point of view of the village, the quayside by Snape Bridge. He will be able to tell us about the new facilities that will be created, and what they might mean for the local community.
Harry will joining us at 6:00pm, and will speak and answer questions. This is on the ‘Agenda’, posted on noticeboards earlier in the week, as agenda item 2.

Members of Snape Parish Council invite everyone in the Village to attend Snape's Annual Parish Meeting, taking place on Tuesday, 27th May 2025 at 6.00pm in Snape Village Hall. Especially welcome will be representatives of our many village organisations, who are submitting their Annual Reports in advance of the meeting. As the reports arrive, they will be posted on this website at https://snapevillage.info/pc/org25 where the first two, from myself (as "Responsible Financial Officer" of the Parish Council) and from the Village Hall Chair, are already available to view and/or download.
Doors open at 5.45pm to allow time for an informal chat.
