Talk: The Queen at Home: Windsor
A Talk to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
Oliver Everett, Librarian Emeritus of the Royal Library at Windsor Castle,
was Librarian there and Assistant Keeper of the Royal Archives from 1985 to 2002,
and author of its official guidebook.
He will share his years of experience and inside know-how
about the way Queen uses the Castle as her home.
From the fire in 1992
to Garter Day processions and her love of horse-riding in the Great Park,
this promises to be a wonderful lecture to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
He presents his talk at The Riverside Centre, Stratford St Andrew,
to raise funds for St Mary's Church Farnham and for the Centre itself,
on Saturday 24th September at 7pm for 7:30.
Tickets for sale, including a glass of wine & nibbles, are £15 per head.
A limited number of tickets for local Senior Citizens are available at £5.00,
on a first come first served basis.
