GIRLS ABOUT SNAPE
Formed in January 2018, Girls About Snape enjoys a wide range of events for members at the monthly meetings.
Our programme is a mixture of educational talks, social events and outings, for example, concerts, theatre, gardens, meals out. Additional activity groups within GAS include Knit & Natter (for charity), Book Club, and a Walking Group. Members are encouraged to form additional interest groups.
It is our aim to hold at least one fundraising event each year, and monthly meetings support the chosen charity for the year.
If you are new to the village, Girls About Snape is a great way to meet other like-minded people; new members and visitors are always welcome. Do come along to one of our meetings to find out more — our members’ meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month in the Village Hall starting at 7.30 pm. Open meetings will be advertised in "Ebb and Flow", on the village noticeboards and on the «What's on?» pages of this website.
We celebrate the return to monthly meetings, post-Covid, in the Village Hall on Thursday 9th at 7:30pm — you can read more here.
There is a cost of £4.00 for visitors, and an annual subscription of around £25.00.
