I’m happy to inform you all that our Meet Up Mondays (MUPM) will be back on Monday 10th May, 10:30am at The Golden Key. We made the decision to wait till then, rather than now, because the weather will be hopefully warmer and, more importantly, our attendees will have had their second Covid jab. Obviously, if anything changes we will cancel.
We would love to see our volunteers join us, as in the past our residents often came to MUPM to ask for help with something — or, sadly, they share how lonely they are! We can help with both. One particular request was a lady who had been struggling in the dark because a light-bulb had blown!
If you know of anyone, who you think would love to attend, then please invite them. We have a few ideas of visitors we could invite and outings we could all go on, including our fish-and-chips outing that was being planned before lockdown, which we already have the funds for! More suggestions will be gratefully received.
Please contact me with any further thoughts. We look forward to hearing from you, and more importantly, seeing you at Snape’s MUPM.
Finally, we will be dedicating our first MUPM to Sue Buesnel, who attended every Monday, and sadly died in December, just after Christmas. In her memory we will continue her passion to collect 5p coins for the Aldeburgh Lifeboat.
