Village Hall Update October 2017

This was the 4th anniversary of Snape Village Hall’s monthly coffee morning! Thankfully, as has become the norm, the morning was a great success with a queue to get in the hall when the doors opened at 10 am! As well as all our regulars, we were especially pleased to welcome two new residents of Snape, Beverly and Clive, who have moved here from Essex to enjoy the surrounding areas of Snape, and participate in village activities.
Being a celebration, Sue P made cakes for those who attended. They were absolutely delicious – and much appreciated. Thanks Sue.

The morning reflected on all the improvements which had been undertaken during the last four years and laminated photos were also available by way of a reminder of our successes.
We still have a long list of improvements including the back stairs door and the front car park, which the committee are still exploring funding opportunities for. We continue to promote all the work going on at the hall, and behind the scenes, so that others will get involved with the very important needs of Snape residents and visitors. All our committee members are committed to ensuring we meet the needs of those who use the village hall. As usual, we have lots going on at the hall – all information is on the notice board and on the village website.

The coffee morning raised £184.54 this month which will be put towards improvements needed. We would welcome donations of bric a brac to sell which can be collected if required. Just contact Tim Beach on 689136. We look forward to seeing you all again on Thursday November 9th 10am – 11.30am.
