Village Hall news

We have already had a busy start to the new year with lots going on both inside and outside the hall. Following a request from one of the hall users we have had security lighting fitted at 3 points outside the hall which will hopefully be of benefit to those of you who use the hall in the evening. Also thank you to Nevile Smith and the bowls team for fixing the serving hatch. At last it works as it should!

We currently have a grant application in to replace the windows in the snooker club and will keep you updated on our progress with this. However, Mary Wyllie has secured a grant from Tesco tokens for health and safety and lighting improvements. We need your help with this as it all depends on who gets the most tokens as to the size of the grant! This will apparently start in March in Saxmundham, Aldeburgh and Diss stores and we will be competing against two other projects. Please shop little n often and remember to collect a token to place in our slot. Your help will be much appreciated!! Thank you!

We hope to see you all on March 14th for the next coffee morning when Alan Collet will be giving us a brief update on the swift box project.
