The defibrillator that the village obtained has now been permanently installed on the outside wall of the Snooker Club / Village Hall. Should this be needed in an emergency, the instructions for access are printed on the casing and the machine will take you through the steps you need to take.
A defibrillator is a device that gives a high energy electric shock to the heart through the chest wall to someone who is in cardiac arrest. This high energy shock is called defibrillation, and it’s an essential life saving step in the chain of survival.
This valuable, potentially life saving, resource would not have been possible without the support of the Golden Key, Maria Norman and the Parish Council.
